Softball

2018-2019 brings new leadership to the Lady Horsemen Softball program. Head Coach Joe Alvarez will start his first season as skipper of the Lady Horsemen. Coach Alvarez was born and raised in Santa Fe, NM and graduated from Santa Fe High School in 1988. Coach Alvarez played football for the Demons. 

Coach Alvarez has coached at St. Michael's, and in the Santa Fe community for over fifteen years in many capacities and sports including basketball, baseball, softball, and football. He believes strongly  in having an environment that encourages athletes to learn and develop both on and off the playing field when coaching the girls.

Coach Alvarez has been married to his wife Leticia for 26 years. They have two daughters Audrianna, Cia, and two sons, Joseph, Andrew all have attended St. Michaels. He has one granddaughter named Layla.
