Parents Club

The purpose of the Parents’ Club is to promote the welfare of the students of St. Michael’s High School by stimulating communication and cooperation among parents, teachers, students, administration and extended school staff, and promoting cooperation and communication with other SMHS volunteer groups.

The Parents’ Club meets monthly during the school year. Membership is made up of parents, guardians and caregivers with children enrolled at St. Michael’s. Members are entitled to vote in the annual election of officers and to attend and vote at meetings. Any member may inspect all books and records of the club upon written request. Members are eligible to serve on any committees of the Parents’ Club.The Executive Council of the club consists of the elected officers and at least one person from each standing committee. The Executive Council meets monthly during the school year prior to the general meeting. The Executive Council manages the policies, finances and affairs of the club and determines the monthly meeting agenda.

The Parents’ Club strives to support the experience of our students at St. Michael’s High School. It is an evolving group whose personality and function grows to meet the needs of our changing school community. Recent years have seen the advent of new committees and goals including Parent Link, Teacher Awards, and Beautification. We encourage you to get involved with the Parents’ Club and add your ideas and energy to this community.
