New Student Placement Testing & Interview Session

St. Michael’s High School invites all student applicants to participate in our Placement Testing and Interview Session, a valuable opportunity to experience our school’s academic and cultural environment.

Students will begin the day with placement testing, followed by a personal interview with a member of our faculty or staff. This process is an important step in helping us get to know each applicant and in ensuring proper placement within our academic programs.

For Students:

• English Placement Test followed by Math Placement Test (for incoming 7th grade applicants)

• Personal Interviews (for all grade levels)

For Parents:

Parents are warmly invited to relax in our lobby with refreshments during testing and interviews. While attendance is optional, this is an excellent opportunity to connect with other parents, learn about school activities, and engage with our community.

Important:

Placement Testing and Interviews are a required part of the New Student Application Checklist. All checklist items must be completed in order for applicants to be considered for acceptance.

Schedule

• 8:00 a.m. – Doors Open

• 8:30 a.m. – Welcome

• 9:15 a.m. – English Placement Test (Grade 7 only)

• 9:15 a.m. – Personal Interviews (Grades 8–12)

• 10:00 a.m. – Break

• 10:15 a.m. – Math Placement Test (Grade 7 only)

• 11:00 a.m. – Personal Interviews (Grade 7)
