Michael Sandoval - President

A fourth-generation Horseman and Class of 1988 graduate, Michael Sandoval brings deep ties to the St. Michael’s community and extensive leadership experience. Before returning to SMHS, he served as Cabinet Secretary for the New Mexico Department of Transportation, overseeing statewide policy and operations. With a passion for education and community, he continues to guide SMHS as President, ensuring the school remains a pillar for future generations.

Martin Sandoval - Principal

A Santa Fe native, Martin Sandoval joined St. Michael’s High School as Principal in July 2023 after a distinguished career with Albuquerque Public Schools. With decades of experience in education, he is dedicated to fostering excellence in teaching, learning, discipline, and student success. As Principal, he champions the Lasallian values that guide SMHS, building a safe and thriving environment for all students.
