Presidential Search

Introduction

We are pleased to inform the St. Michael’s High School community that President Michael R. Sandoval, Jr. will complete his service as President in June 2026. Having first stepped into the role in January 2023, President Sandoval has provided the stability, leadership, and dedication needed to guide SMHS forward. As he looks ahead to supporting his children through their college years and enjoying a well-deserved retirement, we are deeply grateful for his commitment to our school.

The Board of Trustees has begun the process of identifying the next President of St. Michael’s High School, with the support of Carney Sandoe & Associates, a consulting firm specializing in Catholic and Lasallian educational leadership. A search committee has been established to ensure a thoughtful and inclusive process, with the goal of announcing our new President in February 2026.

This page will provide ongoing updates, important documents, and information about the process and timeline as we move forward.
