Beau Martinez is a member of the 2008 Graduating Class of St. Michael’s High School. While at St. Michael’s he was a Varsity Letterman in Football, Wrestling and Track. Although injured during his Junior and Senior Years, he was still a part of the 2007 State Champion Football Team. His father was Defensive Coordinator of the St. Michael’s Junior High Football team and Assistant Varsity Wrestling Coach.
After leaving St. Michael’s, Beau pursued a degree in Pharmacy from The University of New Mexico. He attended UNM for three years and decided to change majors from Pharmacy to Secondary Education and transferred to New Mexico State University. He acknowledges that the Lasallian Principles learned at St. Michael's as well as support from his fiance were his reasoning for going into education. He graduated with a Bachelors in Science in Secondary Education as a Crimson Scholar with Summa Cumlaude Honors and received the College of Education Dean’s Academic Achievement Award. He is currently working on his MBA through Eastern New Mexico University and graduate in Spring 2017.
Beau and his fiance Amanda who is also a graduate of St. Michael’s High School (Class of 2009), like to attend Country Concerts in their spare time and are proudly celebrating seven years together January.
