Susan R. Patten, J.D. has 15 years of education administration with emphasis in fundraising, program management and marketing. She was named Vice President of Advancement at St. Mike’s in July of 2014. In August of 2017 she also assumed the duties in the Admissions Office.
Prior to joining St. Mike’s, Ms. Patten served as the Director of Development at St. John’s College, and previously held the position of Assistant Director of Marketing Communications for The Pennsylvania State University Alumni Association. She has also worked in the private sector doing education consulting.
Ms. Patten, originally from Lawrence, KS, holds a Bachelor of Science in History and Political Science from Bethany College and a Law Degree from Washburn University School of Law. She is a 2011 graduate of Leadership Santa Fe. She and her husband, Kirk, who is the Chief of Fisheries for the New Mexico Department of Game and Fish, have three children. Ms. Patten has volunteered with Girls on the Run, Northern Soccer Club, and the Santa Fe International Folk Art Market
