Course Description
Painting and Drawing I
Students will be introduced to a wide range of drawing and painting techniques with emphasis on observational skills, visualization, and development of a visual language. Students will work with pencil, acrylic, ink, and other mediums. Students will learn the principles and apply their understanding of perspective, proportion, value and color theory to their drawings and paintings. Students will be introduced to the critique process and be required to keep a detailed sketchbook. (One trimester course)
