After a long period of isolation students return to the classroom.

education first president to challenges in the year 2020 1.5 billion children around the world were turned away from school as the world fell into a Health crisis due to covid-19 hits lives were changed dramatically they went from having a connected community of peers to having no personal contact with their friends due to isolation during isolation our students had to learn to maneuver to the virtual platforms left to their own devices they had to adapt to online learning long-term isolation carries negative consequences for children feeling of loneliness cause depression the lack of classroom structure can cause a child to lose focus they can also develop feelings of anxiety there are other concerns that, with isolation lack of physical activity in addition to many changes in their eating a may result in poor physical condition as a school Community we are happy and thankful to have our students back in the classroom that is what's best for development but coming back to school also bring some concern about the well-being of our students do too long termite solution we may find that they suffer from social anxiety we also find a high level of stress due to misinformation circulating on social media and they feel generally unsafe in an unpredictable environment St Michael's response to these needs by providing stability safety activity and a wonderful nurturing environment honoring the lasallian tradition started by John Baptiste Phyllis L carried on by the Christian Brothers still we have to make adjustments to the way our students experience school we will focus on three areas the first curriculum the second is technology and the third is equipment and supplies that compliment a healing environment we must come together as the school Community we are asking for your help this giving Tuesday this year this important date falls on November 30th it is our chance to respond to the needs of our students meet them where they are and create a healing student experience please depart us on giving Tuesday by donating or advocating for this car together we can create a school experience that he'll prepares and fosters hair
