Student Applicants are invited to explore the cultural climate of St. Michael's High School for our New Student Placement Testing and Interview Session. This process will be a formation for students to view our academic setting. Applicants will first be given the English Placement Test followed by the Math. Students will conclude their day with a personal interview by a current staff member.

Parents are invited to join us in our lobby for refreshments and snacks throughout the duration of their students’ tests and interview, however it is not required to stay. This will be an opportunity to meet other parents, both new and current, as well as learn more about the parents’ involvement in education and school events.

Please note: Placement Testing and Interviews are a requirement of the New Student Application Checklist. To be considered for acceptance all items on the Application Checklist must be completed.

8:00 a.m. - Doors open

8:30 a.m. - Welcome

9:15 a.m. - English Placement Test (Students entering grade 7 only)

9:15 a.m. – Personal Interviews (Students entering grades 8-12 only)

10:00 a.m. - Break

10:15 a.m. - Math Placement Test (Students entering grade 7 only)

11:00 a.m. - Personal Interviews (Students entering grade 7)
