This award is for a student that has the ability to make a lasting difference and has extraordinary character. This year our winner is Evan Bloodworth.
Evan Bloodworth is a remarkable young man who has gained respect from his peers and adults. His teachers applaud his attributes as a student saying, “Evan is one of the most polite kids I've ever had the privilege of teaching. I'm sure that has a lot to do with his parents and the values they have instilled in him.” “I can always count on him to participate in class and express thoughtful opinions.” “He always brings a smile and positive energy to the classroom.” “He is confident without being arrogant, always acting with humility.” “As a student he is incredibly responsible, well organized, self-disciplined, and motivated. His work is stellar.”
Evan's genuine character and care for others make him a natural leader. He has an uplifting presence and bright spirit and brings joy and positivity to any situation. He is well liked and respected by his peers because of his thoughtfulness, fun loving spirit, and wonderful sense of humor. Evan’s kindness and contagious smile reflect a genuine understanding of our Lasallian Core Principles: “Respect for all Persons” and “Inclusive Community.” He is a top player on the tennis team and is an accomplished member of the orchestra.
Jensen Brown’s favorite saying was “Make each day a good day.” Evan Bloodworth embodies these words in every way.
