Our students of St. Michael’s High School come from a very large geographic area. Our designated weather spotters call in to a central person in order for us to determine whether or not we will call a Late Start or Snow Day. The school will use Remind (text, or email) and the school website to communicate to staff, parents, guardians, and students about possible late starts, snow days or emergencies this winter. If you do not hear on Remind (you may not have an updated phone number with them if you changed numbers since August), do check the website as a backup.
In the case of inclement weather:
By 6:00 am, an official Late Start will be reported through the app Remind (text and email) and the school website.
By 8:00 am, if necessary, an official Snow Day will be reported through the app Remind (text and email) and the school website.

Please remind your student to drive slowly in the event of ice or snow. Most weather-related accidents are caused by teenagers driving too quickly for conditions.
