St. Michael’s High School is pleased to announce that senior Kylee Marcus was just named a 2018 Daniels Scholar. This year 2,250 students applied for the prestigious Daniels Scholarship. Of the 238 students selected, 146 are from Colorado, 30 are from New Mexico, 26 are from Utah, and 36 are from Wyoming.
The program is for graduating high school seniors who demonstrate exceptional character, leadership, and a commitment to serving their communities. The award covers tuition, room and board, and other expenses that remain after all other scholarships and financial aid have been applied to a student’s account. It is a four-year, annually-renewable scholarship. Daniels Scholars may attend any accredited, nonprofit college or university in the United States.
“I’m thrilled to have been named a Daniels Scholar and I look forward to representing the Daniels Fund. I could not have earned this amazing award without the support and guidance from the teachers, administrators and coaches at St. Michael’s. I will always be grateful for the education I received from St. Michael’s.”
Kylee will be attending Texas Tech University.
