Police Training: This past week a number of police and rescue cars appeared in our student parking lot. There was no incident. They were conducting a training session that they had not asked or informed us about. We are happy to accommodate the police department with future training sessions and asked them to let us know ahead of time as not to alarm people on campus and those that call in concerned. Thank you to those people, particularly our neighbors, who called in. With a summer class and summer camps going on, police cars on campus would set many people on edge if they did not know the reason.

Hiring Update
With new teachers in Math, Art, Science, and Yearbook/Library we are well on the way to filling out staff. We still need a Junior High English teacher, a part time Spanish teacher, and a Counselor so if you know anyone, direct the person to our website’s “Career” tab. We also have been interviewing and determining the Dean of Students and Dean of Academics positions, as well as Campus Ministry and Student Activities. More to come next week on announcements about some or all of those. Although Br. James officially finishes June 30 and Mr. Sandoval begins July 1, Br. James will be around to help with the transition that has already begun.
