National Honor Society and National Junior Honor Society
The Junior National Honor Society (JNHS) and National Honor Society (NHS) is the nation's premier organization established to recognize outstanding high school students. It is more than just an honor roll, Junior National Honor Society and National Honor Society at St. Michael's High School honors students who have demonstrated excellence in the areas of scholarship, leadership, service, and character. These four pillars have been associated with membership in the organization since its founding in 1921.
Goals
The goals of the club are to recognize and celebrate academic excellence among St. Michael's students.
Provide service to the school and broader Santa Fe community through initiatives such as blood drives, food drives, and tutoring programs.
Develop leadership skills in members through officer positions and community service projects.
Foster strong character development in accordance with the school's Lasallian Catholic mission.
Create opportunities for members to give back through tutoring fellow students and participating in service activities that earn "Block M" points.
