E-sports

E-sports is similar to traditional sports but with online play and virtual teams. Organizations like PlayVS and NFHS provide platforms, rules, and structure, making it a legitimate extension of school athletics to compete in games such as Super Smash Bros & League of Legends. The club works toward building teamwork, strategic thinking, and communication skills in a structured environment with the hopes of  leading to scholarships and STEM engagement.
