Choral Arts Society

Choral Arts gives students the opportunity to collaboratively sing with their classmates. We also have the monthly opportunity to participate in our liturgies as the music ministry here at St. Mike’s. The choirs also compete (and place) at the state level in the NMAA State Choir Competition. 

We currently have two sections:
Chamber Choir: Audition only ensemble where students tackle more difficult repertoire. This is mostly made up of high school students, with a few exceptional middle schoolers.

Treble Choir: Mostly beginning middle schoolers who are learning the foundations of choral singing. 

 

Goals

To give students an opportunity to sing with their classmates; create a culture of mentorship;
