Bio
Santa Fe native Kevin Garcia brings more than three decades of teaching and leadership to St. Michael’s. He earned a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership and holds Bachelor’s Degrees in Sociology/Anthropology with a criminology emphasis and Secondary Education. Kevin teaches Government Honors, Economics Honors, World History, and History of Sports and Society, helping students analyze the world through both past and present. His earliest memories of learning were shaped by a fascination with history and the way it influences people’s lives. He loves St. Michael’s for its sense of tradition and community, where students are encouraged to grow academically and spiritually. Kevin hopes his students remember that history is not just about dates but about understanding people and choices, lessons that shape the future. With 30 years of experience, he continues to guide students with insight and care.
