Bio

Originally from Quincy, Massachusetts, Jane McGonagle brings warmth, perspective, and nearly three decades of teaching experience to St. Michael’s. She holds a Bachelor of Arts from Assumption College and a Master of Education from the University of Maine at Orono. Her love of learning was shaped by her childhood in a large family of five siblings and seven nieces and nephews, where she was surrounded by stories, language, and the joy of teaching moments. At St. Michael’s, Jane teaches World Language and Theology, helping students broaden their perspectives and deepen their faith. She cherishes St. Michael’s for its strong sense of belonging, where every student is valued as part of a shared mission. Jane hopes her students leave her class not only with stronger academic skills but also with respect for all people and a lifelong curiosity about the world. With 28 years of service, she remains devoted to guiding students with wisdom, patience, and care.
