Bio
Hailing from Achille, Oklahoma, Jocelyn Pesch brings creativity and warmth to her classroom at St. Michael’s. She holds both a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree in Art Education and now teaches Art and Ceramics, guiding students to explore their creativity and develop their technical skills. From an early age, Jocelyn found herself teaching art to anyone who would listen, lining up makeshift “students” as a child and sharing her passion through play. Today, she continues to embrace that same sense of joy and curiosity. At home, she enjoys life with her husband and their two cats, and she finds peace in crocheting, which she does daily. Jocelyn feels blessed to be at St. Michael’s, where she can openly express her love for God through her work and help students see that art can be a reflection of both beauty and faith. She hopes her students leave her class understanding that anything can be art if it makes you feel something. In addition to her teaching, she sponsors student council and serves as junior class advisor, finding joy in supporting student leadership.
