Bio

From Nambe, New Mexico, Devin DeVargas brings creativity, energy, and faith to his teaching at St. Michael’s. He earned a Bachelor of Music from Eastern New Mexico University and a Master of Music from the University of Oklahoma. At St. Michael’s, he teaches Choral Arts, Intro to Theatre, and Theology courses including Sacraments and Life in Christ. His early passion for teaching began with music, when he realized how powerful performance could be in building confidence and community. Devin values St. Michael’s for its integration of arts and faith, a mission that guides both his teaching and his performances. He hopes his students remember that their voices—on stage, in song, and in life—can inspire others and bring joy.
