Bio

Originally from Gadsden, Alabama, Jacob Frazier brings fresh perspective and energy to his first year of teaching at St. Michael’s. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature and a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Jacob teaches 8th Grade Language Arts as well as 9th and 11th Grade Religion, weaving together language, faith, and critical thinking. His love of teaching began in childhood, when he realized how much he enjoyed storytelling and discussion. He values St. Michael’s for its faith-centered mission and the chance to be part of a supportive community. Jacob hopes his students remember his encouragement and his passion for helping them grow in both knowledge and faith. He and his fiancée, Emily Taylor, are excited to call Santa Fe home.
