Bio
Santa Fe native Carolee Friday brings enthusiasm, creativity, and a love for languages to her students. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish and Political Science from the University of New Mexico, an MBA from the University of Phoenix, and is currently completing a Master of Arts in Spanish Language Teaching from East Texas A&M University. She teaches Spanish I and II, encouraging her students to connect language learning with culture and identity. As a child, she delighted in exploring books and languages, experiences that later shaped her teaching journey. At home, she enjoys life with her husband, Ernesto, their daughter, Isabella, three dogs—Lola, Salomé, and Marisol—and their horses, Brownie and Cocoa. She treasures St. Michael’s for the faith and family values that permeate the community. Carolee hopes her students remember the joy of discovering new cultures and the confidence that comes from communication.
