Respecting Property:
Thank you for helping us with those conversations with your students regarding respecting school facilities. We saw an improvement this week. However, we always want to continue those conversations. We appreciate your efforts in helping us.
School Accreditation:
St. Michael’s has been approved for a pursuing a “dual accreditation” during the 2024-25 school year. WCEA (Western Catholic Education Association) is the lead agency and reports out to Cognia (the agency recognized by the State education office). As such, we will essentially have a “Catholic” and a “public” accreditation. We look forward to the process that will involve all aspects of school life. We also will look toward a “Lasallian Assessment Process” that, conducted by the education office of the District of San Francisco New Orleans of which we are a part, will focus on the Lasallian Catholic character and practices of the school.
