Horsemen Highlights for week of April 11-14
At our all school prayer service this past week, the Campus Ministry Class engaged us in a “living Way of the Cross,” an enactment and reflection on Jesus final hours on earth. Today, Good Friday, is the day we remember this event and reflect on the many ways we can find the strength of God in the times we fall in life, in the people who help us with our struggles, and in surmounting events that seem life crushing. We look forward to the Resurrection with the celebration of Easter and pray all our St. Mike’s family, especially those in greatest hardship, find hope and strength in each other and the God that brings light to the darkness.
Spring is in the air! With warmer weather, we begin to see an increase of student behavior and attendance challenges. We appreciate parental help with getting their students to school on time, every day. They cannot learn if they are not present. Please continue to speak with your students regarding our school policies and the Lasallian Principles that guide us daily. Senior parents and guardians: Especially help our Seniors stay focused as they now, with hearing about their college acceptances and deciding where they will be, start beginning to look more toward next year than this year.
