Bio

Michael DeSanctis, originally from Los Angeles, California, brings both academic excellence and spiritual leadership to St. Michael’s. He earned a J.D. from NYU School of Law, a Certificate in English History from Oxford University’s Manchester College, and a B.A. from Boston College. At St. Michael’s, he teaches 10th Grade Theology and serves as Director of Lasallian Ministry, guiding students in both faith and service. His love of learning began early, with a fascination for history that later merged with a call to serve others. Michael enjoys life with his wife, Christy, their rescue cat Buttermilk, and their three dogs, Axel, Gryphon, and Homer. He loves St. Michael’s for the way it integrates faith and education, creating opportunities for students to grow spiritually. He hopes his students remember that faith is not only learned but lived.
