Mental Health and Mindfulness

We have entered a new reality since COVID-19. Students, families, and teachers have all had to adjust to this new online learning environment. It has not been an easy transition for anyone.

We are all trying to make life as normal as it once was. Today, high school and junior high students are most at risk for depression and anxiety. They are dealing with mental health challenges in ways they have not had to deal with before. Our students and students around the country are looking forward to returning to school. Although we have offseason athletic practices, music and other activities still happening on campus, it is not enough. They are missing out on the social interaction being at school brings.

Below are some resources as well as the directory for Mental Health Therapists here in New Mexico to help students and families deal with the new strain that COVID-19 has put on Mental Health.
