Girls Basketball

Coach Ruiz has nine years of basketball coaching experience. She has served as the Varsity Assistant Coach since the 2017 season.  From 2001-2005 she was the Varsity Head Girls Basketball Coach at Pecos High School.  In addition to coaching, Ruiz has 22 years of teaching experience.  She is currently employed as a math teacher at St. Michael’s High School. 

In addition to being a St. Michael’s alumnus (1995), Ruiz earned a Master of Science degree from Concordia University in Portland, OR, and Bachelor of Science degree  in Elementary Education from Briar Cliff University in Sioux City, IA.
