Spirit Shop:
The Spirit Shop has reopened on campus in the hallway to the right of the offices. Ms. Tapia ([email protected] is stocking it with Horseman wear. Spirit Shop hours are:
Tues, Wed., and Thursday
7:45 to 8:15
2:45 to 4 pm
If you need to purchase something outside of the hours posted, please contact Ms. Tapia directly.
SAT Testing
SAT 10 is the testing we give at school for all Sophomores. This year’s testing will be on Wed., Feb. 22.
SAT testing is offsite. Information can be found at https://satsuite.collegeboard.org/sat. The following dates are important:

Catholic Schools Week and St. Mike’s Honor Roll
St. Michael’s is proud of our honor roll students of this past semester who will be recognized Fri., Feb. 3 at something new in recent years, a student body honor assembly. Appropriately concluding Catholic Schools Week, the assembly not only recognizes student achievement in our Lasallian Catholic value of “Quality Education” but also will include a St. Blaise Feast Day Blessing of the Throats.
Athletic Highlights: For the first time in over three years the St. Michael's girls swim relay team has qualified for State! Congratulations to Lauren Clokey, Raylee Hunt, Diana Lopez-Linan and Nevina Sand on this huge accomplishment! Also, congratulations to Mataya Sand for earning a state diving score!
Good Samaritan in Española: After their basketball game against Española, the Junior High boys’ team was about to pay for their meal at Freddy’s Restaurant and found out an anonymous fan had already paid for their meal. Thank you to our Good Samaritan in Española; the gesture was a slam dunk with the team and coaches!
Spring Sports Information Night: The Spring Sports Information Night for parents and athletes will be held on Thursday, February 2nd, at 5:20 pm in the St. Michael's HS cafeteria. The general session will be followed by individual sport breakout sessions with the coaching staff. Any questions or can't attend please email Athletic Director, Joshua Grine ([email protected]).
Seniors:
Deadline for the seniors to order caps and gowns from Josten's is February 1, 2023. Other items for seniors and upcoming seniors are available for purchase by clicking on Josten's School Store for St. Michael's Horsemen.
Kairos Retreat
Congratulations to the Junior girls who attended the Kairos retreat; they rose to the challenge of exploring their relationships with God, others, and self. Thank you to Ms Larson and her in school staff, along with the priests who helped out, who guided our retreatants. The boys Kairos is in the scheduling and planning stages.
Prayer Resource
A “Bible Diary” of Lasallian reflections on each day’s Gospel for 2023 is available for free online HERE. We thank Br. Brickston of India for gathering reflections from Brothers all over the world, including our own Br. James (the December reflections).
